The Forerunners Scholarship

Vision and mission

Born out of the challenges Muslim families face

The Forerunners Scholarship was born out of a deep understanding of the challenges many Muslim families face when trying to give their children an education that honours both their faith and their future.

Our founder — a sibling in a migrant family, an educator, and an advocate for equitable education — has experienced first-hand how the mainstream system fails to nurture the potential of children who are quiet, under-represented, or simply different. Despite years of advocacy and leadership in education reform, she realised real change would never come from within a system that was not built for us.

The Forerunners Education was created as a bold alternative, rooted in Islam with all its values. The scholarship reflects that mission: not just affordability, but unlocking excellence, nurturing adab, and raising young leaders who will give back to their communities with ihsan.

Who is this scholarship for?

For sincere families who are…

This opportunity is open globally, to families who are:

  • Struggling financially and unable to afford private homeschooling
  • Committed to raising children who embody excellence in both their Islamic character and their academic efforts
  • Seeking an alternative to mainstream education that aligns with their values and their vision for their child

And for the student who is…

Ready to give their best

  • Entering Year 7 (aged 11–12) in the coming academic year
